Ok, so i've seen it in almost in all weddings or other functions, and have tried making at home, but it never has the same taste. Anyone know how to make proper gajar ka achar?

OIC. In that case, try to remember what is in the achaar, bcos you get different types. like Hyderabadi has a lot of kalonji or some black seed in it, and other type has a lot of saunf (fennel seeds) in it.

That will help others know which type ur talking about so the recipe can be found.

Thanx but what is it that make it so red? like, do they use tomato pure or smthng?
