we have to go to Chicago to get the grocery and meat. can someone let us know some good meat shops which have A butcher who cuts meat infront of you and any good store like fresh farms near Naperville, Aurora, Lombard, Oakbrook? going to Devon is not at all easy as we have to go on weekends only.

thank you. i live 2 hours west of chicago adn we dont have halal meat shops here so we drive to chicago every mont or so stock up and come back. as devon is so far away and traffic and praking is a hassel.
i tried al waheed's meat one time the meat was horrible. amin's is not good at all. they have laready made meat which u can get from normal stores.and god knows how old it is.
i like frosh farms at devon was thinking if they have some other shops in other suburbs?
anywehre in naperville, schumaburg, aurora, oakbrook. some nice clean grocerry shop , fresh farms type of thing.

Im pretty familiar with Lombard...Madinah Market on Roosevelt Rd is pretty popular...Mediterranean Market is also on Roosevelt Rd...Al Wahid is another one...these are Muslim owned and provide Zabiha meat.

Don't expect fresh farms stuff where you live unless you want to empty your wallet...their stuff is worth much more than what customers pay there. They do have a location in Wheeling and one just opened up in Skokie next to Walmart on Touhy and Central.
I have a friend who lives in lombard and she told me there are plenty of halal meat shops!

Schaumburg has a place called Shamiana which is good. Minar market is in hoffman estates which i have heard good things about but have not been there.
