Salam all,
I am trying to make up for lost time (all those years I didn't drink milk) and the only way I can drink milk in the summers is cold milk with 7up added to it. (Doodh soda). I know soda is bad for me but I can't seem to drink milk all on its own. Someone suggested rooh-e-afza but that is laden with sugar as well... Any other ideas my fellow guppies ....

How about adding 100% fruit juice and carbonated water .. I am assuminging that you like the fizz as well as the sweetness of the soda. Juice and carbonated water should take care of that

^but fruit juice is going make the milk go kind of bad, no? like if you add lemon juice or orange juice to milk, it gets all phatt.
do you like chocolate sadi? how about adding ovaltine or hersheys syrup? rooh afza in milk is yummy, if you enjoy the taste then just add a bit.. don't put in too much.
Choose your battles wisely.

theres no point in making up for lost time now. it is said that its extremely important for babies/kids to consume calcium because its used in bone production and is retained for much of ur life in the earlier years. after around age 30, bone destruction exceeds bone production and ur body will not retain as much. therefore, trying to drink milk wont really matter much. if ur concerned, and milk is not ur friend, you should take supplements or other dairy products like fruit yogurt.
I'm better than you and you know it. P.S. I purposely made this bright to annoy you.

sumorani, thanks for the info... but I figure drinking some milk might be a good idea. I don't like chocolate in my milk pareezay but I am gonna try ovaltine in cold milk, lets see how that goes. Yeah I love rooh-e-afza in milk too and there are no calories written on the bottle but 800ml contains 800gms of sugar.... that is just too much

Have yogurt instead as sumo says.
Mango milkshake - blitz mango with milk, add sugar or ice-cream if u like.
Strawberry milkshake - blitz strawberries n milk n ice-cream or sugar.
Chocolate milkshake - blend teaspoon of cocoa, some sugar n a drop of vanilla with a few teaspoons of boiling water, add this to milk.
Have milk with cereal.
I think milk should always be consumed as part of a healthy diet.
One must make a mark in this world, if I am remembered for anything, let it be cheese and crackers...

Milk shake is the best way to deal with this issue .. I have the same problem , I cant seem to have milk on its own , so I have made it a point to have milkshake twice a day !
Plus , the cereal in the morning can be the answer to all your questions.. Be it porridge or flakes .. you can easily consume milk ....

You can throw some strawberries, blueberries, etc in milk and make smoothie out of it. You can add Malt flavored ovaltine or horlicks ( i think it spells this way)...Or you can eat plain yogurt or fruit yogurt...You can also add cottage cheese in your diet..There are plenty of options to incorporate calcium in your diet...
