sara u are so right.

PM crack open a can of tuna...white albacore in water.
add some salt, black pepper, relish, mayo, red onions, and some chinese garlic chili paste (if u like to add some spice to it). mix it all up and enjoy.

this is MUCH better then subway!!

Thank you sara, AE,Alvena.

AE I will do that. 2 questions though.

1-I want to make it for a week(at-least 3 sandwiches). So can It be left in the fridge for 4-5 days?
2-I assume I can only buy that small small can of tuna fish?

Thanks.

PM, everyone in my family takes tuna sandwiches for lunch everyday, and we store the tuna mix for about 5 days in fridge and nothing happens to it. You're gonna get alot out of one can but if you're looking for about 4-5 days, you're better off using two cans. Mix in some mayo/ranch sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and chopped up celery for the crunch- tastes amazing.

you can also add boiled eggs to it but dont keep that for more than 2-3 days.

btw, the proper term would be tuna salad, not paste

Amused

My brother likes this version:

Tuna
Mayo
Green olives
Diced tomatoes.
Salt & Pepper

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

AE your recipe sounds yummy

Guys, don't overdo it with the tuna, it's high in mercury, so should be consumed around twice a week....

Yeah like everyone said, tuna salad made at home is much better, as you can add less mayo than at stores. Following added in tastes good:
* chopped boiled egg
* Diced green onions/red onions
*diced bell peppers or roasted red peppers
*diced celery
* u can even add quartered cherry tomatoes/parsley etc one day on your sandwich
*dont forget cheese if u like it, provolone goes well
* u can add black pepper, red pepper, garlic powder or even use miracle whip instead of mayo and it tastes good
*my bro adds ketchup to it or barbecue sauce, i dont like it but dad and bro like it

I know it sounds weird but a lil bit of curry powder tastes good in it too!
