This is the one that i usually follow, it's a spanish recipe... sometimes i use one lemon and one lime, but the most important thing is that you blend them whole!
Ingredients:
2 limes or lemons, quartered and any seeds removed
8 cups of cold water
Approximately ½ cup of sugar, more or less based on your preference
Ice cubes as desired
Preparation:
Place the quartered limes or lemons in the blender with 4 cups of water and sugar.
Blend until the limes or lemon is completely pulverized, the mixture should be slightly foamy with a whitish color.
Strain the lemonade and add the remaining 4 cups of water.
Serve with or without ice based on individual preference.

Maroush, 2 questions for you:
a) Is that a subtle way of admitting that you dine at Nando's?
b) Does the lemonade taste bitter bcos of the skin?
One must make a mark in this world, if I am remembered for anything, let it be cheese and crackers...

a) RH, you know me better than that ... actually i have been there once or twice... it tastes like microwave meals...or the "vacPac" dehydrated meals we got in the military when on missions...
b) The above recipe is from one of my hubby's spanish friends... that's how they make limonada in Spain... i thought adding the whole fruit would make the drink a little bitter, but it tastes just right to me as i don't like it too sweet... very flavourful....you can adjust the sugar as you please

See RH, if i want halal food that's not desi, i usually go to a lebanese (maroush ), turkish, morroccan etc type of place.... tastes so much better than the cardboard at nando's..... their coleslaw is ok though....
Princess: They have chicken.....and uhm....chicken....

Princess, they have chicken and chicken and chicken and more chicken.
They put the nando's sauce (which is really nice hot n sour) on it, then grill. The following 3 things are nice, nando's sauce, chicken and olives.
All the rest is rubbish, maroush, the coleslaw is NOT ok (thats what i think anyway). The rice is old cooked and bland.
