So I was changing the cartridge in my fountain pen (yes I am a geek and proud of it) and something startled me. I pushed the cartridge when I should not have and sent ink splattering across my favourite white T-shirt.

What to do????

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee fountain pens!

Soak your Tshirt in cold water and add a non bleach stain remover. Then launder.

Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, rub with rubbing alcohol.

k, I will have to leave work now.....cuz I can't bear to lose this shirt.....
it took so long to find it.....and I have to go tonight to see if I can replace it before they are out of stock on it....

H & M here I come!!!!
Just in case the remedy does not do the job.

on the subject of fountain pens....it's been a couple of years now that I have vowed to use only fountain pens for the majority of my written work......I love it.....every stroke so controlled and measured.....so elegant.....

sometimes little things in life bring us such pleasure!

I've already planned that in case the removal plan fails.

I was thinking it might be a good way to introduce my niece to a home fashion business.....custom made t-shirts......
she's quite talented in art.

I learned this tip from a teacher and it WORKED!!!! It's almost like magic........and I hope that it will work for you.

However, I don't know if this tip will be effective for huge blobs of ink. It does work for small pen markings on clothes.

Here is what you do. Apply hair spray to the pen mark on your shirt. Let it sit for a moment. And then wash off with COLD water. And it should hopefully do the trick. The alcohol in the hairspray acts like an eraser for the pen maker.

^I've gotten small ink marks on my clothes a few times and hairspray followed by cold water has always taken it out Alhumdolillah.
