Just make it the way you normally make chicken, and once the chicken is "bhoonafied" add in a cup of chick peas, I normally use canned chick peas. Sautee for a minute or 2 and add water & let simmer until cooked thru.

oh boy. please do a search here and you will find plenty of chicken curry/salem recipes.
I follow a basic one. Fry 1 sliced onion till golden brown. Add ginger/garlic paste and then add 1 chopped tomato. Keep sauteeing and then add masalas:
salt/pepper to taste
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon haldi
1 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon of zeera
garam masala maybe 1/2 teaspoon

Bhoonafy until tomatoes are tender and have cooked down. Then add 1 cut up chicken.
Cook the chicken as you normally do, you will know its done when the oil seperates from the masala and it doesn't smell "kaccha" anymore. At that point add in a cup of chick peas ( i use 1 can of Goya Chick Peas - precooked). Saute a little more. Add about 1 to 1 1/2 cups water, and put on medium and let simmer till the chick peas soften and chicken is cooked thru, I normally like it thick so i let it cook down all the way.
