This man (in the video) shows us how to make the best copy of KFC, which he says tastes even better. Please watch, and learn!

Bad internet connections may not work, I will type up the recipe later when I have time. BTW the man soaked the raw chicken in milk overnight, then boiled it in the same milk for 20 minutes b4 frying, that sounds odd.

Rupay, I have seen a few big chefs do that as well .. and tried it once , it does come out brilliant in taste ...
by the way, i couldnt catch the spice this guy mentioned in the Douglas mix ... what did he say after he mentioned dried oregano?

He does say that he bets that the real KFC chicken must have MSG in it, which enhances tastes in foods.

There's two versions of it, US and UK version...
the US was craked by Ron Douglas...
I think this is the text version..
The Word of Mouth KFC challenge | Life and style | guardian.co.uk
US version: 'KFC' mix
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons Accent (MSG)
UK version:
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp sage
1 tsp celery seeds
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp dried onion flakes
2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp ground white pepper
One thing i'm not sure of, did he use chicken withs kin on it or skinless? it didn't look clear from the video..
also i think no matter how hard u try u will not get the falvor of kfc at home.. prolly cz kfc uses alot of artificial ingredients and stuff...but it can be pretty darn good.

Tip: A chef on tv advised to use boneless thighs instead of chicken breast piece for a closer taste.

Thighs are more tasty than breast, anyday. I still haven't tried making this yet. Anyone else?
