I will still call the 'till walay naan' that you get only at breakfast time, Kulcha.
Kulcha with freshly churnned makkahn and chai in a clay pyala.. Life couldn't be better.

Kulchaa is a flat bread BH not a round ball one

thats definitely NOT a normal kulcha.
an authentic kulcha is a kind of flat bread.
this thing is shaped like a kachori.

lol Bh.... sweet heart told you that was not kulcha. No one is going to call them kulchaas..
Anyway guys and gals, as you know BH is from Kashmir and she said in Kashmir these balls, round things are known as Kulchas.
Whereas in ourside of Pak i.e. Punjab and NWFP ( i m sure abt these two provinces) Kulchas are the Till waalay Naan.... yum yum.
chalo now stop calling each other idiots.

It is kashmiri kulcha. In punjab kulcha is till wala naan but in kashmir word kulcha refers to this and it totally have different texure and taste. Not meant to be eaten with salan and stuff but with chaai or qhewa. I love these with green or black tea.
BH did you make these at home? I so crave em.

Kashmiri kulchay are flat shaped and are roughly the size of a grown man's palm when pressed flat. Traditional way of eating them is by dropping one into a little bowl (small cereal bowl) full of hot tea and when they are slightly moist, eat 'em with a spoon.

Kashmiri Chai Recipe - 2 cups cold water add 1 Tbs green tea, add 3 cardamon (ilaichi), 1 small stick of cinnamon (dont use powder form)
- DONT add to much of cinnamon, its gona give u a very disgusting taste
- let it boil....
- after first boil, add 1/4 tsp of BAKING SODA
- after few boils add half a cup of cold water and let it boil again
- mean while u have to mix it take some in karcha/pawah and drop it frm a height *k fine i dont know how to explain u this step*
- repeat step 4 & 6 again when u see water is drying up
- repeat step few more times till u see kehwa turning its colour into pink
- take out lil bit of kehwa n add milk to see the colour .... i do this because incase the colour is not pink i can continue boiling....atleast u dont ruin ur whole tea like this
- if it turns out pink add lil bit of salk (1/4teaspoon) and sugar, milk
- add ground almonds and pistachio and serve!!!!!!
