i have one of those and let me tell you its such a pain to clean! Since we are desis, we have to have karhi hui chai and sometimes it boils over. I try to clean right away but since the stove is still so hot, it crusts and cooks over and hten i have to scrub until my hands get sore! I use Weiman's stove top cleaner and scrubbing pads by the same brand. For scrubbing, i use Bar Keeper's friend and although it makes my job a bit easier, i would like to have to scrub alot less! Also, the glass is developing some sort of stains that dont go away with scrubbing.

Please help me make my task easier! I cant even make hubs do it since i am the one cooking chai (although most times its for him!).

I would like to know the answer to this too...
Although I have never had issues with chai boiling over but the use of heavy pots and pans is ruining(or has already ruined ) the glass top over the most used burner ...
Is there a way to make it look like new or sth close to that..?!?!?
