You could add yoghurt.

You could make some more of the same dish and mix the two.

Cut up a potato into large chunks and add to your dish. It should soak up some of the excess flavours and you can remove them before serving.

Someone once mentioned something about a adding a paiRa of atta

depends on the recipe. if it is a rich dish you can easily use cream/yoghurt/milk.

on occasion i have messed up my haleem meat base so i usually add sour cream and it works.
