does anyone here know how to make faloodah (starch-noodles)?
my devrani really wants to learn, as everyone has been reminiscing and raving about and she is keen on learning and trying it.
i would love to show her the right way of doing it, so she can enjoy a traditional kulfi-faloodah (not that bekaar laziza type mixes, which pretty much use pasta style noodles!!)
she is not desi, and im not a chef, so if you could simplify it for me, that would be great.

You get actual falooda noodles in a packet by Kings and are called falooda sev...they are yellow but when you boil them, they will turn transparent just like the real ones back home.
Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open...

Chef Zakir once made them on his show out of cornstarch and water which he cooked over very slow fire and it turned into a hard dough. He passed it thru a sieve (made for making falooda) right into a bowl of ice-water.
Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

They're ready to use right after they're dropped into the ice-water..
