Ok i had some idea it wasn't very smart to keep reusing frying oil...but I didnt know it was that bad. Now either this means that I will have to throw otu all that oil every single time I use it (more $$ wasted) OR just not fry as much (waistline saved!!!)

reusing it for 2/3 times is fine but keeping it for weeks or reusing it till its all evaporated is not good for health ........ well as if oil is good for health anyway way

I re-use for deep frying. Like during ramzan there is a karahi of oil always available for the pakoray and samosay.
But when I do this is make sure that the heat is carefully regulated (i.e. never too high) and the items fried are always of the same basic flavor. (i.e. I don't re-use oil that I use to fry fish for anything other than frying fish.)
