Cheese and pumpkin crackers...
PUMPKIN SOUP!
Pumpkin pie...
Roast pumpkin salad.
Mashed pumpkin.
Pumpkin halwa.
One must make a mark in this world, if I am remembered for anything, let it be cheese and crackers...

OK seriously now, do u really want halloween themed food or normal food. Finger buffet or sit down meal?
Are the guests children or adults or a mix?
Spicy or non spicy?

Can we have something else on the menu besides PUMPKINS?

Pumpkin sounds awful. The invited are mixed. Children and adults. Buffet meal. Can do Halloween theme. And only dietary requirement is halal. I really haven't a clue! Was going to do pizzas, big potato wedges, chicken wings. Salads and dessert is easy but what else. It looks so boring. Plus I'm doing it on my own so easy recipes plz. Only have the whole of Saturday to do it. Everybody coming wants me to paint their face too. So have to be finished by 3pm

I always thought of desi delicacies such as Paya and tongue soup as very spooky halloweenish kinda food.

Come on man, it's halloween, GOTTA HAVE PUMPKIN!
Cut baguette / large bread stick into thin pieces on a slant, brush with half butter melted with half olive oil n crushed garlic n herbs. Stick in the oven. Top each piece with something like salmon mixed with cream cheese, cooked chicken with mayo n other bits, tuna sweetcorn mayo, cheese n tomato. Anything. Arrange on a large tray.
Or make wraps stuffed with cooked chicke, avacado, baby spinach (fresh), red peppers etc. Roll into long shape n cut into one inch thick slices. Arrange on a platter.
Your own menu seems fine.
