I watched a love story today, it had a happy ending
Even though they died, they were one in death.
They went through all the troubles that true love withstands,
And as the tears went down, my mind drifted off to you.
A reflection of the movie i saw, with just an added twist,
Two love's thrown apart purely by circumstance.
I watched a love story today, it was about You and Me,
I don't know how the story ends, because it's too far to see.
I know it had a great start and i know it played for a while.
I couldn't help the tears as they came down, and i felt the tiny tremors course through my body,
My heart felt cold and eveywhere else warm.
My chest was so tight, i could hardly breath,
And i struggled with the will to go on.
Someone asked me once, if this is what it feels like to die,
feeling as though you've already lost the battle,
before the war has ever begun.
I watched a love story today, there was You and there was Me,
And in my mind the distance seemed too far.
The taste of my tears so bittersweet, i can't say how it ends, for i do not know.
But it will be a happy one, because even though we are far apart,
In our hearts We are as One, together always and forever. Moon

The MOON has become a dancer
at the festival of love
this dance of lghts
ths sacred blessing
this devine love
takes us
to a world beyond
only lovers can see
with their eyes of fiery passion.

They are the chosen ones
who have surrendered.
once they were particles of light
now they are the radiant sun
tey have left behind
the world of deceitful games
they are the previlaged lovers
who create a new world
with their eyes of fiery passion.

I completely agree with you, thats why this name.but than if you just have sweetness thats no fun either, a little bit of bitterness is good for us to stay on the right path.
I thinknyou have a good taste in poetry, we can exchange few more nice things.

Dear whitesands, life is what you make of it, i agree that some of us taste more bitterness than others, but i also believe that we all get chances to change our lives but not everybody is capable of doing that, i have suffered lots of bitterness in my life but i still strongly believe in future, a good future, and happiness in achieving it.

Can't believe people would criticize other people's work here. Who cares if it is a perfect poetry or not, it is an expression of one's emotions and feelings and if it touches one's heart, so be it.
Bittersweet, you are absolutely right some people experiences more bitterness and hardships in life than others. You know what i have realized something in my life, people who go through alot in terms of emotional crisisand pain, turn out to be the most understanding , caring and compassionate people over all, and i am by no means saying others don't have that capability. But once one has gone through alot in life, it makes that person more flexible and more understanding and more tolerant towards other people. Whatever i ever write, is a reflection of my pain or my pleasures of life, it is as persoanl to me as my own identity, and yes not everyone who is going to read me is going to really understand what i am saying or conveying. Some might find it an absurd haphazardly written poetry or prose, but only some would understand what i am really saying. That is a beauty of it coz honestly i don't want everyone to see inside of me either. Ciao. Moon

Bittersweet's bitterness, if any, I can understand and am praying to Allah to help him to get it over with. He is more of sweet person than bitter. You are scaring me bittersweet.

Whitesands: seems to me that you have not so good experiences of life. Everybody goes through it. Some can express it, some can't. I fall in second catagory. You express yourself very well. If talking about it helps, you are welcome. I talk to bittersweat nealy everyday, I am a good listener.

I totally agree with you wsands, life does teaches you lots of things, and makes you a better person atleast towards others, but do you think that after going thru a lot of bitterness a person can be fair to him or herself?
