apna maqsad sa tum yu door chali jao gi,
rakh ban jao gi afsano me dhal jao gi,

itni bedardi se dil ko mere voh tod degi,
ye maloom na tha mujhe akela voh chhor degi,
aey mere masoom dil tu tanhai se pyar kar le,
bewafa bhi ab wafa ka saath chhor degi

kaash tum mujhe ek khat likh dete,
mujhme kya kya thi kami yeh to bata dete,
tadapte dil se mere tumne nafrat kyu ki,
nafrat ki hi mujhe koi vajah to bata dete.
