There's this other restaurant in the F-7 Markaz, KC Grill. Loved that place!

liked? its still there!
Our family was there in 1989 the day Papasallis opened. Because of that, we knew the owners and management that changed so much over the years and theres even some ppl in the waiting staff that have been working since then! Back in the mid nineties, Islamabad was so elite, you'd find ppl like gohar ayub, benazir, nazia/zohaib hassan, rohail haayat dining there casually... Papasallis also used to celebrate their birthdays in style back in those times too!

I have such good memories of Papasallis.
Great food and ambiance. I used to try to visit it on my every trip to Islamabad.
Though for a restaurant whose forte was once Italian food the ravioli I had was drenched in sauce and rather unappetizing one at that as well!

A BBQ tonight in Islamabad!
I don't know if it owned by the same people but I have been to the similarly named restaurant in Karachi. It is quite an institution there.

Speaking of Karachi, I think the China Town in f8 is the namesake the original one in Karachi as well. And yes CT is considered a bastion of Chinese food there so I am sure the one in Islamabad must be quite good too.

I like kim mon in Jinah they still kept the original chinese flavour. Boland Saji and Jahangir's Balti have their own special dishes. I also like Usmania's roast lamb leg.
