Hello everyone,
I read the following on the BBC Asian Cricket Message Board and found this quite hilarious and awesome.
Don't take it too seriously. I love Inzi, and don't mean to poke fun at him, actually I think the way he manages himself in English is as admirable as it is endearing.
Dear the diary,
Today I am not is the feeling good. Some Indian fellow who is not the Andrew Flintoff getting me out two times. imagine! first time, I am fall. I think is because I not eat good that day (Sami hide his samosas from me again at breakfast). second time, somebody else who is not the andrew flintoff is stumping me from behind. This is not a good feeling thing. After match, one more English player who is not the Andrew Flintoff come and shake my hand. later, coach Boolmar tell me he is England captain. I do not know.
Meantime, the Shahid Afridi is again angry at me. I am catching him staring at me with wild wild look in his eyes as he is tossing his hair in front of dressing room mirror. I am better to carry bat with me at all times, just in case the Shahid Afridi is becoming dangerous again.
Now I am going to room and taking big big plate of biriyani to bed. this is my series-losing comfort food. I know I am better batsman than any England player. I will eat to gain strength and prove in next match.

Esp. the first line 'Today I am not is the feeling good' is exactly how he talks
We shouldnt make fun because of the quality of his English. we aren't ruled by the English any more and hence speaking fluent English is not a prerequiste to being educated.

I agree with azuhusain, we i.e. people from this part of world India and Pakistan are complexed. Most europeans speak english with regional accent. even Britishers speak with accent, Rubbish becomes roobish

Yes Fanaa
That's well written and very very funny.
I couldn't stop lauging right from the first "is"
On a serious note, why can't our players speak in their own language and a sub-title runs along the screen? A translator could always be used.
I guess his Urdu vocabulary is equally bad Maybe he should be allowed to express his views in Punjabi.
Inzi is a humble man, a great batsman and all-round good guy
.....but, he is not a great captain, only by example does he rally his troops, but when the opposition are batting then his decision making is generally poor. Like yesterday he did n't have to take the 2 power plays right away, the match was going to be over early anyway. He could have tried to put the pressure on with spinners early in the innings and then his fatal decision to bring back Rana
