well nothing can beat Kay-beez. i think it on kar-saaz (i get all the eight flavors, and get it sprinkled with chocolate chips)...
i think the flavors are: mango, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, coffee, coconut, aur bhut sara.
there is another ice cream parlor that i loved to go to and that is snoopy ice cream. i think it is near navy museum.
baloch ice cream parlor on boat (or port) basin is also good but nothing can beat kay-beez....and guess what kay-beez ice cream is just like R.s. 40-60.

The cheapest in town is "Karachi Icecream" ........
Their 1st branch was at Hussainabad ......... 2nd in Johar .......
Snoopy has finally closed down all its branches (last one was at Tariq Road .... ahh .... end of an era)
The most "in" parlor these days is Gelato ................

cadet, is there any ice cream shop in sadar, besides jones (the same thing as KFC)...cuz they have to bukwas tareen ice cream...lol.
there was this beggar, who asked me the money. apprently i had no cash, and i hated the ice cream i was having so i asked the beggar to take it, but she refused.
but when i was leaving she said that "baji ice cream he khila do".
"jab kaha tha k loo tum nay inqaar kia, abb main nahi khila rahi  " i said.

Zobia, pelase talk about Golay Gamday walaa's also. I remember one near Rangoon Wala Hall in Kachchee memon Society .. some guy named Saleem or something

chachu, well when i used to live there...i get to hear all weird things about "thailay wala" that they give drugs to children and then kidnap them. and then impaired them and throw them on the streets as a beggar.
but in my recent trip i had tried Falooda somewhere in Tariq-road (near some mosque)...and it was

Rangoon wala has now more gollay gandey waley then houses ........
i don't think there is any famous ice cream parlor in saddar ...
not sure though ...

Not quite and Ice Cream parlour, but there used to be a hotel (the old cafe Khyaban style near Nerang Cinema) close to Bambino cinema. It served great Kulfi. That was about 25 years ago. Wonder if it is still there?

gellato affair is alrite, but too westerny. nothing special about it.
peshawari icecream is the way to go 
also i never had gola gunda as a kid, my mom would never let me have it saying it had sikreeen. i dont care what sikreen is :/
had it recently, pretty good

Baloch Ice
Dhoraji's golay gadday walas are very famous, Mongini Ice Cream in North Nazaimabad, Baskins in North Nazimabad. Sorry to hear Snoppy's has closed down. They had good ice cream. Gelato Affair is very good. I miss Peshawari ice cream!!! There also used to be Igloo Ice cram parlour in Clifton with teh ebst topping selection ever.
