I was only trying to help.
The new thing from what i saw when i visited is Pace Mall. They basically have a little bit of everything you need in one place, so you might not have to go running all over the place. http://www.pacepakistan.com/project/...l_projects.htm
Good luck

L block defence (ditto)
Link road model town (relatively expensive, moderate- high range, not that crowded, dont need a local if you know where u're going n what u wanna buy)

MM Alam road has some new clothing shops (mostly designer wear, for eg, Hajra Hayat, Sublime by Sara, Deepak Perwani, Khaddi, Generation, Wardrobe, Asif and Nabeel's, Junaid Jamshed, Asia Saail, )
also right off MM Alam road is the PFDC Mall (more like a building actually) and has exhibitions by various designers going around whole year (especially summer lawn collections also showcased in PC).
Fiza emboidered fabrics- kinda like bareeze, also on mm alam road.
Paisley is this small shop in front of the ZAKA pharmacy, has really nice hand- painted chiffons, upwardas of Rs. 5000, love 'em
anarkali+liberty good for bridal wear
Go to the designer's outlet for designer wear
casual shopping - bareeze, aroshi, cynosure, generation, fortress stadium
hmm i'll add to this list as i remember.
