Is marriage by FATE? Is it already written above (pre-decided by Allah) to whom we will get married or the choice has been given to us to find our life partner by ourselves? I am always too confused about this thing because there are several things about whom Allah has told us that we should not worry about like RIZQ (k jis insaan ko jitna rizq milna hai wo pehle se likh rakha hai), our death (k jis time, jis jagah bhi humaari maut likhi hai hum khud us jagah pohanch jaen gay) but I don’t find any such hadith or verse regarding marriage….
Then if our life partner is pre-written, then people who get divorced, is it also their fate?? Kya ye hmaari kismat mai likha ja chukka hota hai k ‘that person will get divorced’ or ‘us insaan ki engagement toot jaye gi’???.. I have always been so much confused about this thing, please also mention some hadith or verse if u know related to this...

I don't know what's in the hadith.. but I do know that it's up to a person on how much crap they want to be taking... the day they stop taking the crap -THEY CHOOSE to make their own faith.
So ye even I am confused - if it's Allah's will of is it considered "my way" that you choose your faith to be

We have to understand first that Allah knows ALL. He knows what's going to happen. He's the creator of our actions.
BUT
We have the moral responsibility! So that means we act by choice, which we, are responsible for. That choice (free will) is given by Allah to us. This is why we will be questioned for our own actions. We can't be blaming fate/destiny for our own acts.

Yes it is, everything is already written down and Allah knows who you will marry, where he will be from how he will treat you, and everything. If it's already decided by Allah, it will happen. But it's not our job to think over what Allah has decided for us or not. There's no positive gain from that other than leading to question what Allah has decided. We should follow our deen as best we can that includes marrying a person who shows good qualities, and the rest Allah knows.

Allah has already written down WHO you will marry, and IF you get a divorce. Altho it is adviced NOT to divorce till VERY extreme situations. And we also have the FREE-WILL to do so. Allah has created us with our own minds. But deffiently i do say its written down!

Rizq is by fate but you have to struggle to earn it.
Similarly, marriages are by fate but you have to look for rishtas in order to find a person.Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be “Salam!" (33:44)

^I wanted to marry a poor person and made lots of duas but they weren't accepted. Now when I think about it I thank God that He didn't listen to my prayers.
So no....in this matter duas don't get accepted which is a blessing.Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be “Salam!" (33:44)

In my family some people said things like marriage and death are already asmaan mein leekhay hain. But they said, if you pray enough, especially in the last important nights of Ramadan, your taqdeer can change into something better.
I have no idea if that is true however or superstition.
I do believe that shaadi asmaan main leekhee jaatee hain.

i believe that too. marriage is fated. those who do not marry do it on their own will. Allah does giv u the chance to meet the right person u take it or miss it is upto u. ofcourse its not forced on u like bollywood movies k hero her roze takraiy ga.
