So i was thinking......
Now how do u ladies come to a conclusion that someone is 'disrespecting' you because you are a woman and not because of some other attribute of yours ..it could be that someone just doesn't like you or agree with you for reasons other than ur gender

seriously nomi the way you post threads about women either to make fun of them or to criticise them just proves that you think about women all the time. You've got nothing better to do.
I remember once someone suggested you to change your nick to bijamalo. I am sure that if GS runs a poll on the biggest bijamalo on GS you will get a landslide victory .Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity !

Alright here... 'please do disrespect me because I'm a woman'. That sounds okay now...
Seriously... how do you come to these conclusions?
Honest criticism is hard to take, particularly from a relative, a friend, an acquaintance or a stranger.

i would like you to point some of those out please.....the making fun and criticising part.....i shall be very thankful to you...
Thats actually a good idea...you could make a poll with 4-5 choices.....
now stop derailing my thread and discrediting me... thats a serious question i asked....

now do u think thats why i opened this thread?? that i want to disrespect womeN?
its a question......if that thought never came into your mind that someone was disrespecting you because of ur gender....well and good....and if it did...u could answer the question i asked...
i never came to any conclusion thats why i am asking a question here...... its your own wish if you want to twist this into a man vs woman thread...or calling me womanhater or sexist or whatever.... the question is simple and clear

^ A morbidly obese Aunty, with bleached streaks and frizzy hair.. a closet full of animal-print, fitted outfits, loud jewellery and even louder make-up that flutters from mehfil-to-mehfil, kitty-to-kitty updating folks on the recent gossip and adding 'tarka' wherever needed and often even when not needed.
..all you need is trust and a little bit of pixie dust!

yes...its fully serious.....if some stupid trolls can get 5 pages of 'serious' responses from women...whats wrong with this??
.....
Its Phaphay kutni's urdu translation....
oh...great....nice way to avoid a simple question.....

Nomi is right though. Not because he is my bro but also because of the psychological make up of the victim mentality. Desi girls have this huge chip on their shoulder when it comes to say their Indian or gori counter parts. It happens with all minorities. Hell if you live in Pakistan you know about the whole issue of a Pakistani singer going to India breaking the law and getting caught with thousands of dollars. The Pakistani victim mentality played up the role the Indian lobby against Pakistani singers. It is the same victim mentality. Or the issue of Muslims going through western immigration. That again is victim mentality.
A man can disagree with a woman on merit but to a desi girl that is a gender issue and not a logical issue. That problem is one in their own mind and not in reality. Just because guys disagree with you doesn't make it a gender issue. Your gender rarely plays a role in academic or intellectual discussions. Sadly very few desi girls get that.
Look at GS as a microcosm of the female desi mentality. The men here can divorce the gender dynamic from the discussion. You women can not.

off topic or maybe it is on topic but
i noticed that most pakistani men on GS are respectful towards women though, it's different, maybe it's the religious side that keeps them from disrespecting and i've noticed that even if they do disrespect a tad bit, it takes some time for them to rethink how they acted. just talking to a pakistani guppan, it's so obvious.
on topic i think it's the men that make everything into a man vs woman thing.Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. 8:7

Most, but I wouldn't say all.
And yes it is (I've noticed as well) the guys around here that make everything into a man vs woman thing....and create several threads pitting the two genders against one another...and there are a couple who can't listen to various possibilities/exceptions regarding a situation and will deem the the women as liberal/feminists, etc.
