I suppose a tattoo is ok if its in an area which is hidden by clothing, for your partners eyes only.

now tongue peicings, thats another thing...

My point illustrated very well. In the west, these tattoos and piercings signify many things.

Proposition one: tattoos are trashy.
Proposition two: a member of GS has a tattoo.
Conclusion: that member is trashy.

For such a proponent of logic, you sure are very illogical Mr pak-one. Illogical with a huge chip on your shoulder

While I personally disagree with tattoos, everyone has the right to do what they want. Which you admitted. Good of you to. Having a nice bedside manner goes a long way my friend We're all countrymen. No need to be aggressive and harsh.

Wow, sounds like someone spent a lot of time trying to be witty. What you have described is something called non-sequiter fallacy (look it up). All I have stated is "Besides tattoos are for sailors and (black/white/brown) trash."

At no point did I go about singling out individual members as trashy. Even the next statement that you quoted, indicates that very fact:

"Whose stopping you from getting a tattoo? There are plenty of trashy people walking around with tattoos that I could care less what an individual does."

As for chips on shoulders, I am not the one coming out of the woodwork to pick fights. I made the statement and I stand by that.

Pak-one cant understand what he's saying.

Here let me simplfy it for you:

You called people with tattoos trashy.
People on this thread have tattoos hence that means you're calling them trashy and that amounts to a 'personal' attack. Then I point that out and you start crying and telling me not to go for 'personal' attacks.

I couldn't give two hoots what anyone think about tattoos (which you'll see if you knew how to read)

My post took me all of 4-5 minutes to reply. Anyway, it's not a non-sequitur (spelt this way pak-one). You say tattoos are for "black/white/brown" trash. Shak09 has a tattoo. The conclusion is very clear.

The fact that you couldn't care what an individual does is irrelevant - the premise is clear, the conclusion even clearer. You're backtracking.

Shak09, bacha backtrack kar gya.

No personal attack here pak-one. You're clearly trying to impress people with your arrogant attitude. Not working.

--- totally agree with u- that is exactly the symbolization of a terrorist here in the west- a islamic style beard- but u cant call them a terrorist--- i dont think theres a point to arguing anymore--some people just dont get it through their thick head....

Why are you guys getting so hung up on pak-one's opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however retarted it may be. Just don't launch personal attacks. As pak-one has a right to express his personal opinions, so do you.

And if it helps, you can get it out of your system by saying "anyone who thinks that tatoos make one trashy is a moron". See, according to pak-one's logic, its not a personal attack if you are giving your opinion on a group of people and not addressing it to a specific person. If someone doesn't like it, tough for them.

As for tatoos... I personally find them gross. If someone wants to have them, its their choice.

As for body piercings, other than ears, I wouldn't like my wife or daughters to have other piercings, but at the end of the day, its their decision what they want to do. Once upon a time, my wife had a nose piercing too, but I think she just let it close. I am not too crazy about nose thingy too, although I am sure a lot of ppl like them a lot.

N0-one's crying here, my point was if he can call people with tattoos trashy I can ask him whether he has a brain or not without him having to moan about 'personal attacks'.

Tasavur-- thanks mate! Someone sees what I have been trying to say!

Just because tattoos and body piericing (other than ears and nose) are not part of our subcontinental culture , we cannot relate to it and think of it as wierd, trashy, unislamic and what not.But in many cultures getting tattoos or body piericing is considerd right of passage into adulthood, status symbol etc.
