Livng lonely................................ Have you people experienced the comfort(personally speaking) of it?I have been living alone for some times now (I live in Bangalore and hail from Kerala where my parents live). My friends and customers who know me personally often ask me,how I am able to do it but for me,having experienced this and fond of (I do not intened get in to any relationship or get married)I am o.k with this.Last night my friend rang me up (this guy has just moved on to another place ,as part of his work, has to live alone now)and was virtually on the break of tears. He said he was not at all comfortable with it.(The poor lad is above 30 and is on the search for a girl but nothing works out matching his horoscope!!!).I ws just thinking how comfortable I was.
But some people say living alone looks too much weird...................... And some people say ,at later stages of life, one may find it difficult to get along with masses.
What's your opinion?(I think atleast some of you would have left your places and stayed in another place, lonely,as part of your education or career)...........

Well, basically I am a loner and love to stay alone but sometimes I really feel that there should be someone who is there to stay with you all the time or atleast who can listen to you and give you a good time.

I come from a large family where we are close-knit. Therefore I grew up in a house that was loud, where I'd constantly see my family and we'd have a lot of people coming over. I know that living all by myself would be difficult for me due to my habit and the comfort in that.
But if I would have to move because of a career or an education, and know it's
temporary for a few years I wouldn't find it difficult. You can live by your own and still have a large social network.
Living on your own can also be a great experience.

Haven't lived alone yet, but am looking forward to it when the time comes! It gets 'annoying' sometimes living with parents too much

Living alone is awesome... but living lonely? Never experienced any comfort in it.... there cant be any comfort in loneliness...
it's the heart afraid of dying, that never learns to dance; It's the dream afraid of waking, that never takes the chance; It's the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give; And the soul afraid of dying, that never learns to live.

Jeez, this is why all our men are mama's boys. Living alone is very important, it makes you self reliant instead of dependent on others all the time. The sooner you are able to live independently the better otherwise you will never be able to do things on your own. I can't believe how many desi guys don't know the basics of living life on their own, it's really sad.

I've kissed millions of frogs, but still no prince charming...

living on your own and being lonely is different. I dont mind living on my own at all, infact when im at home on my own while family r away on holiday, its actually quite fun, u get sum me time, and do things your way, but at the same time i'm not lonely cos i know that i have plently of ppl to go see and meet i i felt that way. I agree with with aahmed tho' its important 2 live on your own for a bit, so that you can be independant and learn 2 look after yourself!!!

Living on your own does not mean being lonely.
I cant handle loneliness, and I cant handle solitude for long periods of time, although solitude can be a cleansing exercise sometimes.
I lived on my own for a good portion of my life and yeah its tough being away from family but that does not mean u stop living. I think living on my own, making my own decisions, allowed me to to flourish.
