oh yeah it is possible. i love someone unconditionally and take care of them and help them silently and they do not even know that i am the one doing things for them. and when i am talking about love it does not only mean romantic 'love'.. it can be for any person you care about, your mom, best friend etc... even though i love this person unconditionally and always doing things for them i do not expect anything in return because i am doing this for my own satisfaction apne dil ki khushi...
Can you see ME in my AVATAR? See how my brain works?

Loving someone unconditionally means to love them no matter what their faults are, what they look like, and whatever you don't feel comfortable about. It means that you love no matter what happens. There is nothing that would make your love stop.
Success starts with beginning...

on an entirely different note, I think one should not love anyone unconditionally (exceptions: Allah SWT and Prophet PBUH). My reasons are different though, not religious. Setting religion apart, we have established our unconditional love for our God and Prophet.
When it comes to people, unconditional love is there in family bonds of father/mother/child/siblings, but if we look at our world, this love will differ from family to family depending on their lives and circumstances.
I loved someone unconditionally for years only to realise it was a mistake, because their love for me was conditional and when that happens, something inside you changes, and you don't like that change because you always want to remain that person with a LOT of hope and positivity but real life shows you otherwise and then if you don't want to accept it, you know you're only fooling yourself.
I think when it comes to ordinary people we can only love people unconditionally until the time you can do that from your side. But once the time comes for that individual to demonstrate their level of care for you, and if they demonstrate anything opposite to what you have been doing so far, it will simply make you change your mind and the love in your heart with definitely feel dented, I don't think anything can smooth that dent out after this happens.

unconditional love is only from our Prophet Muhammad pbuh for his Ummah and Allah swt.

And this is agreed upon
There is no salvation for the soul, But to fall in Love.
It has to creep and crawl, Among the Lovers first.

possible in novels, drama or films however real life situations are different. The more you stay away from filmi situations the more you are able to adapt into your real life situations.

umm...i dun think ders anythin filmi bout it...
unconditional love is that kinda love that you give priority to others...
people u care bout, u respect, u admire, u relate to, u 'click with', and so on...
love comes in many shapes and forms...
Loving Allah Talah and The Prophet (SAW) is unconditional love indeed...we love them and their ways and do our best to follow 'the way'(may Allah guide us all, Amin).
Unconditional love between human beings does not mean you put those people above Allah Talah and The Prophet (SAW). No way. That is not possible...so in my opinion that comparison should not be made in any case.
Unconditional love between people means that you love eachother no matter what, you respect eachother no matter what, you trust eachother no matter what and last but not least you forgive eachother no matter what.
Love is a beautiful thing and unconditional love is one of the best things that can happen to anyone.
I wish that upon you all.
p.s. u can also love food or sweets unconditionally...i do...just certain types tho

For the person who said uncoditional love only applies to Allah and His Prophet, you are wrong.
That love is conditional, we dont have to believe in Allah or His Prophet yet we do because of our faith.
True Unconditional Love is what a Parent has for their child. There is nothing in this entire world that can replace that love.
