"I have more guy friends than girls" - Page 2

Mostly girls take guys "don't care" as there friends ship. Guys when not being watch by parents and having no GF don't care if girl wants to be around(platonic way).

Good guys can be some what trust worthy, BUT to guys real friends ship is with other guys rather then with girls.
Plus I have seen girls going against girls, they are still very careful and rarely share too much info. When a dude talk to his dude about a girl, you don't want to know what he would share, with out feeling guilty about it.

So women are better of being friends with women.

I feel sorry for women whos only achievement in-life is "more guy friends" .
OR who has this opening line in discussion.

I always feel like asking "are we that specail??? "

well guys who rather have a different personality with gals, just try to be someone else for the sake of a lasting friendship/relationship but i say if they stay true to their real one, it would be more rewarding. I have experienced this cuz i take up e very few number of friends, where girls proportion is too little (5 vs 12, yup i can count them out). But i feel more comfortable with them rather, just i haven't found many who match me...

girls are rather better listeners as far as i have experienced, and i have many things to tell in a conversation....

The simple reason that I have more guy friends in university is because I do not fit in with the girls. I do not like makeup or fashion etc, I like cars, mobiles, games etc. Also I can talk about a wide range of topics and me and the guys get along very well. Plus also I am good at computers etc and me and the guys play Command and Conquer online in university or if they have a question about Photoshop they come to me. This is how I have more guy friends or "acquaintances". Plus as Skittlez said, they do not ***** about you behind your back, they do not do any of the girly stuff and there are very less politics involved. It is easier to be friends with guys.

It is a matter of personal preference - whoever you get along with better.

Well, if someone tries to show off because they have more friends of the opposite sex, thats plain stupid.

I've never encountered any girls who have showed off that they have more male friends as opposed to female ones. If the topic of friendship happens to come up, they merely say that they have more male friends as a personal observation and not to brag.

Sincere friends are hard to find irrespective of gender. And to have such friends is a blessing. This is one of those situations where QUALITY should matter more than QUANTITY.

It is not necessarily a "pride" thing. Sometimes that is just the way it is. Some girls are rather tom-boyish so they get along more with guys than with say girly-girls. Or if a girls interests are sports...etc they find it easier to click with guys & be themselves, instead of trying to fit in with some of the girls who are all about bollyywood and drama and he/said she said drama.
