Can you really lose a relationship on a text message? - Page 5

As sara said, these days marriages break up because of text messages or facebook and this is just a relationship.

Plus I have always stated using intrapersonal communication the other person does not know the intention of the first person sending the message. How will the girl know the guy was joking? Did the guy send a video msg on her phone saying it in a FUNNY and jokingly manner? Did she see that he was not serious? Girls are very sensitive and if she saw that the guy sent the text message she thought it was really over. Guys should not be this insensitive, relationships are of very sensitive nature. It does not take much to build one but a very little thing can easily break it apart.

Even if he was Rusell Peters himself, it wouldn't make it ok. That is just not something you "joke" about. Anyway, hopefully he learned his lesson from this. If she really wanted to be with him, she would have stayed with him regardless. They are both better off.

Only cowards would do such things.. either they know they are guilty and can't face the reality or look into the other person's eyes.. they are blessed to have Email/ text thingy in their lives so they can make a mockery out of a relationship .. but honestly speaking, it's better to get rid of them sooner than later.. such people are useless to begin with.. *shrugs*

Sorry mate but that seems bang out of order.

How 'bout the guy actually talks to his girl to see what's up? There should actually be some real life communication for a relationship to work out, get me? I mean, cyber-fights are so passé; they're so not cool.
On another note, how about some empathy? In a hypothetical, the girl is probably gonna be a bit hurt and bewildered; what kind of boyfriend lets you down via text? It's natural to be a bit *****y, I don't blame her. But when it all boils down, face-to-face talking is the best way to sort out a mess like this one.

but how much is a text message these days .... 5p , 10p, or maybe youre reallly lucky and have one of those fancy bundles where you get them for free......

so moving onto whatever the question was ..... losing a relationship over a text message..... sort of gives you an idea of the value of the whole thing anyway.... at least in the mind of the person sending the text , even if not in the mind of the one recieving it.....

Ah well, he's in talks with the girl trying to sort it out but he's telling me he'll get her back. It was a huge mistake and he's saying he'll never have a girlfriend after this one and only marriage! Girlfriends are too much drama.

Once i got in trouble for saying i wud only leave u for (some indian actress) Offcourse i was jokin....... i couldnt beleive she made it a big issue and we broke up, i was very upset for months and it was really hard for me to get over her. Now am happy that we broke up
