Men only want the weak females. Most of the girls I knew who stayed at home and didn't do much after high school had the argument - that what's the use, the more I get educated, the more my age goes by and the fewer men will want me.

Men have actually created this atmosphere - men and their families - by selectively choosing uneducated or masoom type girls they can take advantage of easily.

You are strong minded and have opinions - and you make it known - its like a curse. No one will send you a rishtaa and in fact, families will warn each other - woh bohat "bold" hai.

But would a girl really want a man who wants a weak woman? What does it tell about the man? Is it even worth marrying such a man? Wouldn't you be better off staying unmarried rather marry an idiot?

Did you know that a lot of these men are really highly educated, hold successful jobs and are really high up in the career ladder? Nobody in the world would think they are cruel towards their spouse. I've recently come out of an abusive relationship so please try not to dismiss what I'm saying. Im fully aware of how much courage and guts it takes to stand up to someone you are scared of. It makes you physically sick. Just the thought of standing up to this person can make you sick with fear and anxiety, when in reality, these men are cowards and you have nothing to fear from them. But they have so far successfully eradicated your sense of self-worth which is why a person becomes so scared. You feel like you would rather be dead than try and stand up to someone who has no issues at all inflicting all sorts of emotional/mental abuse on you.

it's a very ugly situation to be in. it really is one of the most terrifying things to do - stand up to an abuser, but once you do it, you feel finally feel free of these psychos.

Reality is, that unless you have stood in these shoes, you won't get it. Nobody gets it. Nobody will understand it, but there are support groups out there that can help you get through it.

And it isn't just Pakistani men. There are SO MANY wonderful Pakistani men out there. Thank God I've had positive examples in my life outside this one individual, so he hasn't succesfully turned me against the male gender.

I agree completely. People are generally so quick to judge..like why wont she leave if he is so bad, and I agree 100% that these men are what I call charmers for the rest of the world.

Yes, I totally agree. By giving into demands of what men like and what they prefer, we have made ourselves worthless.
Men like women who are lesser educated than them and who will earn less than them so that they can feel superior and women let them feel that way. And the reason why men like weaker females is so that they can boss them around and feel all masculine. Most eduated and well earning females woundn't be so controllable.
Once again, abuse is NOT just physical. If you look in most families in pakistan and even desis living abroad, not all of them actually hit their wives. But the emotional and verbal abuse is extremely common and women put up with it forever.
