I'm not proud of it, an am trying to change coz I dont wanna become a bitter old person!
Bitter old people r no fun

Realy, try to look at the situation as if you were Dr Spock (the star trek vulcan who cannot experience emotion). Evaluate things through eyes like that and see what the outcome turns out to be...

Think of the nice stuff the other person has done for you and think of all the good things about them and then think if you really want to hold a grudge for this small lil thing.
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional

Women tend to hold grudges for attention or to get our points across.

To me holding grudge is not worth. It takes way too many brain-cycles. And I have things to do in life.
I cant give up sanity.
BUT
I also cant deny that some time you cant help getting angry. Some time ppl ask for some thing.
Some time ppl do some thing that if you don't get even it haunts you.(NOT TALKING ABOUT ONLINE WORLD)
In that case I try to get even ASAP. So I can move on with my life. Life is too short for paying for some one else mistake.
Holding grudge IS infact you paying the price. While person who caused it could be having fun.

Don't hold grudges. I find it is a waste of energy and complicates life more than is necessary.

That's an awesome piece of advice, thanks. I need to become a fan of Startrek and start watching all the episodes.

It's not rare in men. It's just not as open to the public as women. But that's because women like to talk a lot and word spreads like wildfire.
Men don't talk as much.

Sometimes I like holding grudges, bcos some people won't change and thoroughly deserved to be grudged against for the rest of their lives. Even if u stop begrudging them, they always do something new to make u hold a grudge against them the next time u see them anyway.
Having said that, if holding a grudge is not an enjoyable pastime any more, then think that your life is better focussing your time and attention on better things.
One must make a mark in this world, if I am remembered for anything, let it be cheese and crackers...

My mother always found colleagues from a co-ed medical school much better than from all-woman school.
It is true and interaction with males reduces their tendency of indulging in micro-political disputes :P
