My hubby is travelling to the far east via London, UK
I need to know if there is a hotel at heathrow where he can take a few hours rest before his next long haul flight.

Please give me names and details.

The hotel should be at or in the airport....

He is not a baby. Let him stay around the airport. With all the security measures thesedays. it ain't worth leaving the airport. He will at the max have 4 hours to him if he gets out.

I went to Pakistan last year and had a 14 hour stay at Heathrow and it went by really fast, kind of sort of . Not worth spending the amount of money for a hotel room. There is a lot of shops and if you just have money for food and good book to read you should be fine.

There are plenty of hotels at Heathrow. They are no more that a 3 min ride from the arrivals lounge. Ive stayed at the Holiday Inn & the Novatel - HI, is far superior. There are some other big players, HILTON etc but they are all quite pricey.

A few years back the ave was about £100 per night - it would be better if your husband stayed at heathrow for the 4 hours and bought you a nice present with the money he saves (and one for me for the tip - lol!)
