LD, thank you so much...
however, that dang thing has no rooms available...but I found this one
http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/...hd/lonst?irs=y
It says on the website that it is about 4.6 mi from my "required destination"...which is E17 8EE. Is that info correct(meaning what the website says..regarding the distance)?

Walthamstow!!!! Boy are you going to have fun!!!
They have a market that is a whole mile long, and you mustn't swear in punjabi as they can understand you, even the non asians understand. I nearly got beats from the fruit and veg man for saying "oh twaadi" when someone bumped into me without apologising. Rude biloody Londoners!
I understand, I just don't care.

Walthamstow is a $hithole (like the rest of east london). Kaleem will feel right at home there.

This hotel is approx a ten min drive from E17
taxi according to the hotel staff costs approx £6
if you want to take a bus you will need to walk to stratford bus station which is approx 8min walk away and the bus ticke will cost you approx £1 or a little over.

ok kaleem you can do one of the two things, dossing is the first option, that is staying with friends or family if you are coming for a few days, secondly if you don't want an expensive hotel then you can check into any backpackers here and save some dosh and spend it on other things, froma tourist's point of view there is a lot to be seen in London, tell me how long will you be staying in London and what kind of things interest you?
I hate both men and women, and am afraid of animals, so basically I am very very lonely.
