^ No its not far. It's Zone 3 and only 20-30minutes on the Northen Line from London Bridge.
Anyway, this restaurant is pretty good and its in Aldgate East which is Zone 1.

Mirchmasala on Tooting High. I have never seen a desi restaurant so continuously busy anywhere. Not only one of the best in London, but in the world. Take that you GTA guppies!

I love Tayaabs in whitechapel on Fieldgate Street behind the London hospital.
Not mad keen on Khans in Bayswater-went there yrs ago. Heard Tooting has good restaurants and of course East London.

I went for a meal at Khan's restaurant in London, the food was rubbish and so was the service. I have been to much better restaurants up north with excellent service and delicious food. What a waste of money.
