I'm not from london but i've been to 'Khan's restaurant' in bayswater, central.
Food is brilliant. They have a website if you want to check it. khansrestaurant.com

Grumpy

^ No its not far. It's Zone 3 and only 20-30minutes on the Northen Line from London Bridge.

Anyway, this restaurant is pretty good and its in Aldgate East which is Zone 1.

Zaiqa, Lahore Karahi, Kustori and Sakonis are also famous in Tooting. Kustori and Sakonis are vegetarian.

Mirchmasala on Tooting High. I have never seen a desi restaurant so continuously busy anywhere. Not only one of the best in London, but in the world. Take that you GTA guppies!

I love Tayaabs in whitechapel on Fieldgate Street behind the London hospital.
Not mad keen on Khans in Bayswater-went there yrs ago. Heard Tooting has good restaurants and of course East London.

I went for a meal at Khan's restaurant in London, the food was rubbish and so was the service. I have been to much better restaurants up north with excellent service and delicious food. What a waste of money.
