Anyone drive a Liberty or know anything about it? I am thinking about purchasing one for my dad, but would like to make sure that its a good value. I know gas is getting extremely expensive so its going to cost more at the pump, but what about maintenance or any long term issues?

I am thinking of buying 2006-07 with less than 30K miles on it. I refuse to buy a new car because the depreciation is always horrible.

I was thinking getting a Honda Pilot but my mum loves riding in Jeep. She being the Original Gangster in the family, I have to get it

based on what JD Powers has stated about the latest models of the Liberty, I would personally stay away from it. you may find better value for your money.
