A couple of problems:
1) A CD is stuck in the CD player, is there anything I can do to fix it?
2) Cigarette lighter doesn't work. I guess the fuse is blown. How do I replace the fuse.
I don't want to take it to the mechanic if there's something I can fix myself. And also is there any place where I can find the manual for it.
Any help will be appreciated.

Bro, usually when the CD player gets stuck, thee should be a small hole (pin sized) in the CD player that should allow you to over ride the electronic system. If the CD is broken in there, then you might need some professional assistance.
As for the cigarette lighter, have dome trouble shooting, like plugging in your cell phone adapter? if it is still not working, try to change the fuse, which is located in a box near the engine (depending on the car).
All the best!

Cig lighter fuse is located at the right side of the passenger side dashboard facing the closed door, roundish panel cover says 'Fuse box' I guess 2nd line 7th fuse is for lighter.
Try to buy manual on 'ebay'
CD player prob - as pak-one mentioned

Thanks both on you. I really appreciate it.
For CD, I didn't find any hole. But I did find the fuse box. I'll post the pictures. May be you can help me find the right fuse for the lighter.
For the lighter 'm thinking it's 3rd one from bottom right labeled "C/LTR".
I heard there's a fuse for CD player as well, but I'm not sure which one it could be.

To make sure if 3rd one from bottom is for lighter, remove another 15A fuse from any other slot and put it in place of 15A and check to see if it works. if it works then go to autozone and buy a new fuse?

Its better to either observe the fuse carefully (the wire is broken if its bad), or use a multimeter (you can get a cheap one from ratshack) and check for continuity. Or just take it to Autozone and have them take a quick look at it (they wont charge you for that) Its not a good idea to pull working fuses from some other function without knowing what it is.

I have a 2005 Chevy Impala. CD got stuck couple of times and that was because I was told that one of the types (either +RW or something like that) will always get stuck. In my case, it was under warranty at the time so I took it to the dealership.
Do you have ON Star activated cause you can always call them and they can help you.
For Cig. Lighter, just change the fuse

I think the CD player would be using the "RADIO" fuse.

You got it right !
Ps: Impala does have a chronic problem in this area. Check with dealers for
any Re-Call advice.
