Hi Ladies and guys,
I know this will be moved to Bazaar very soon, but I just want to post the question out there.
I wana get my fiance a blackberry, coz I've heard him mention it a few times, but I have no idea which one to get, what's in the market (BTW, he lives in the US) and what features to look for. FYI, my guy is an IT geek so to speak, works for an IT firm, handles servers and is always connected to his work.
So which one is best out there, in terms of looks and features. Price is not an issue.
Please Please..I need help since I need to do this by early December.
Jazak Allah khairun

blackberry Bold is the latest model. Good specs. IF u want to buy a BB, you should buy this one. THe others are outdated. Goodluck!

why it has to be blackberry! used it and didn't like it.
Go for iPhone or HTC. I am using HTC Diamond and it allows me to sync it with MS Exchange server, and even google mail. It's an HSDPA phone, but that should not be a problem coz it also supports outdated 3G (USA version).

Very interesting, thanks. But my biggest concern is this: I live in the UAE and my fiance is in the states. Over there, their cells r connected to some particular service. It's the whole package deal. So what should I do in this case? Should I still get him one and pray that it works in the states. What should I consider as far as the network is concerned?
Much appreciate

If he's an IT guy always connected to his work, his company should provide him with a Blackberry or other smartphone. It's a necessity in the IT field.

And you are absolutely right, and indeed, they have provided him with one.Lekin mera bohut dil hai to get him something techy. Guess it's not as simple as I expect it to be.
Thanks

it will work, as long as you buy a SIM FREE phone. Any QUAD band or 2100/1700 HSDPA phone will accept any USA sim. I know for sure that t-mobile USA is 2100 HSDPA and HTC works with it.
