IN 1971, "Tariq Mehmood Tiger" was in Dhaka under the command of General Mitha Khan. "Mukti Bahni" and traitor Bengalies had taken away some boats with them, while fleeing away from East Pakistan. One day when Tiger was in a Helicopter with General Mitha Khan, General saw a gunboat under him in the sea and said to Tiger,"Tiger if you recapture this boat, you are great. But if you capture this boat with its rebel staff, you are greatest."

Tiger Soluted the General, took his company and left for the mission. When Tiger came back, not only that gunboat but also another gunboat had been captured by Tiger. Then general Mitha could do nothing but to search the fourth form of Great.

Brig T.M (Shaheed) was actually TRUE METAL . I hope you must be knowing that the road crossing in Gujranwala Cantonment near Rahwali Base had been named T.M CHOWK, after his shahadat.

Dr Sufi, since you are a Medical officer I'm glad I can discuss some questions I always wanted to ask a fauji doctor.

I'll open a seperate thread for other queries but about TM Shaheed I want to learn, what according to your perception were the level and nature of injuries that TM or any person suffers falling from the sky at such speed when the para doesnt open and what major injury becomes the reason of death? And what are the survival chances in such a case and in what cases does the body disintegrate? And was TM intact?

Hope you'd be kind to respond in detail soon. Thanks!
