Assalam Alaikum

I'm a Canadian citizen, currently finishing my Bsc, my major is mathematics. I'm very interested in joining the Pakistani military. First off I would like to start off by saying that this is a serious post. It has been my intention for a number of yrs. From what I have gathered is that the pay is not good, it's very hard and physical demanding work, have to give up Canadian citizenship, and I am up to it.

I want to first ask, how do I become an officer and what are all the benefits. If I already have a degree, how and where do I apply.

How much training do you have to go through to become an officer, and there different areas you can apply for as in Air defence, Artillery etc or does everyone go in the same way and choose/ or are assigned to different branches later on?

What is the exact pay? Does salary increase as u get promoted? What is provided along with salary (housing, food?)

Can any officer be promoted upto the ranks of Brigadier general and stuff through years of hard work and determination? What other options can you take after spending some yrs as an officer (SSG commandos, ISI???)

Are there any officials I can contact via telephone/ email. Any help would be greatly appreciated to answer all these questions. Thankyou

Youre a little late, you should have applied after your high school, or Pakistani equivalent of FSc.

I forgot to add that when I graduate next year Inshallah I will still be 22 yrs old, which I'm pretty sure is still within the required age limit. Please can anybody answer the questions in my earlier post?

^ Age is not a problem, but when you join the army, are you willing to do your BSc again?

i,m pretty sure there is a graduate intake as well... so ur okay. and yes the pays and the benefits get better with time as u get promoted to senior ranks.... the exact pay, i,m not sure,,, but dont even bother converting it to canadian dollars... it would be enough for u to survive, u,ll get free housing n medical etc... things are a lil tough in the beginning, but i never heard anyone dying of hunger, so u should be okay...

the money is crap, but overall, the benfits n lifestyle wise, its still a pretty decent life. as far as the different corps are concerned, i think the top cadets get to choose, others also have a say, but nothings guaranteed... and yes they all go through the same initial training as cadets. the normal standard time was 2.5 years, but i think if you go in through the graduate intake, you might spend lesser time in there... not sure what the pros n cons are for entering as a graduate.

good luck!

if u have the passion, trust me, its a good life....

As-Sallaamu 'Alayk Brother Kirmani.

Just a few questions I need to ask you.

What is this Army based upon?

What are it's ideologies?

What are they fighting for?

Who is the leader of this Army?

The Prophet Sallaallahu 'Alayhi Was-Sallam said: "Ad-Deen un-Naseehah" The Religion is Sincere Advice.

So my Advice to you is, do not join the Army of Musharraf. If your a Muslim, do not join the Army of Musharraf. This man, who give victory to the Kuffar by allowing them to use the land to kill Muslims in Afghanistan. He goes to the Kufr Laws of man made dieties (the U.N.) to seek judgement. Even though Allaah has told us He is the only Law Giver and His is the Legislation Alone. We are told to refer things back to Allaah and His Messenger in times of difference not to the Man Made Laws and false Dieties.

Have you seen those (hyprocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgement (in their disputes) to the Taawghoot (false judges, etc.) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitaan wishes to lead them far astray. (An-Nisa' 4:60)

^^ This is what the Kuffar do. This is exactly what Musharraf is doing. He shakes hands with these filthy dogs who have waged war upon Allaah and His Messenger and invites them to Pakistan to drink cups of tea and plan how to kill more Muslimeen. His Army is responsible for shedding Muslim blood unjustly. And we ask Allaah to take His Revenge upon this dictator.

The real Belivers are those who:

"obey Allaah and the Messenger." (Aali Imran 3:32)

If you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allaah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allaah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination. (An-Nisa' 4:59)

Allaah did not say refer it to the U.N., Bush, the Hindus or any of the Kuffar. We refer everything back to Allaah and His Messenger.

Do you want to Fight in the Way of Allaah? Or in the way of Musharraf (Tawghoot)?

Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allaah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taawghoot. So fight you against the friends of Shaitan; Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan. (An-Nisa' 4:76)

W. Salaam! Karmani, I think if you already have a degree and as you said you are close to completing BSc then you will start from the regular Officer (I dont know what the ranks are). But your status will be of higher than the other cadets that join the military after doing there FSC. As for the pay, in the beginning ranks it is not dat good but the benefits start right away once you are working for them. You will proceed through different ranks over time and with that your salary will go up as well the amount of benefits. (The system is pretty close to Canadian army).

In order to join ISI (commondoes), you have to have some years of experience as well as go through rigorous training and skill tests. It should be obvious that their pay is higher because they are highly selective individuals. I wouldnt recomment you to join as a infantry member (you already have BSc). Some possible options you can look for are:
-Satellite communication systems
-Radar navigation system (pakistan also have radar guidance system similar to NAV CANADA)
- Network Engineer
- Communications engineer
- Intelligence Officer (I think you need a little further education in this)

If you like to be in the action then some other options include
- Artillery officer
- Ground to Air missile defense system analyst

I tried to find information on contacting with pakistan army recruitment but couldnt find anything.

One point to add is with regard to choosing your branch. If you are only planning to be in the army for a few years before leaving to persue a civilian career, then signals or logistics branch is best because you will learn skills that you can transfer easiliy to the civilian job market. However if you intend to persue the army as a long term career then you would be better of with a combat arm (infantry, armour or artillery) as the majority of high ranking officers (one star and up) tend to be from combat arms. I'm not saying its impossible to achieve high rank from non-combat arms, just that it is more difficult. Just something to bear in mind if you are given your choice of assignments.

I'll answer them on behalf of Kirmani if I may.

The Army is based upon the idea of "Kick A$$" of troublemakers, fascists, and anarchists.

Brave soldiers mostly from Northern half of Pakistan have been kicking beardos around for almost 100 years now. They also kicked some serious German A$$ in African and European fronts. They also pounded Pali behinds in Jordan. Ask Mr. YesSir-are-Fat how was the spanking? The same fearless soldiers who took Arab rats out of Kaaba in 1984. They also trained and aided Afghan Mujahideen for a successful drubbing of your Soviet masters. Need more examples?

The leader of this army will continue chitrol of Mullah-Tullah nexus until they come to the senses.

Let’s roll some TIN cups
