jet1,
Read this thread;
Wana Join Army

And check these links;

http://www.paknavy.gov.pk/career_off.htm
http://www.paknavy.gov.pk/rec.htm

http://www.paf.gov.pk/FAQ.htm
http://paf.gov.pk/Contactus.htm

http://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/intr-p...-comission.php
http://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/Techni...det-Course.php
http://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/Commis...ation-Corp.php
http://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/contacts.php
http://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/asrc6.php

Moreover, as far as I'm aware, you will fist have to get your qualification certified as equivalent to the reqd qualifications for selection listed by the respective services. This will be done through the HEC;
http://www.hec.gov.pk/QualityAssuran...quivalence.htm

Feel free to discuss anything. Good luck.

Pakistani National having dual nationality at selection, will be required to renounce their foreign nationality before completion of training/grant of commission.

Dear Young boy,

I would suggest you to study and make your future instead of joing Pak Army.
Plus, These days Pakistan army is hated the most by people of Pakistan. Back when I resigned things were so bad that we were told not to wear uniform while leaving for work caz if fear that people will treat us bad. Imagine a country's army which is hated by its own people!
Why carry all that hate and ill wishes on your shoulder?
Plus ....tust me u will never combat an oustider enemy like India..always they will make u kill your own poor Pakistani People.
Don't join Pak Army its not good!

Aye! Aye! Mon Capitan.......I personally like Pakistan Navy......the Corps in conversations was always refered to as "Signal Corp".....therefore it was a wrong assumption on my part..............I stand corrected.

I see, well as an ex-serviceman you're an asset for the forum, I look fwd to valuable insight and discussions from you.
Which PMA LC did yo belong to?
And since you served 8 years I assume you left as a Captain?

You don't have to be brilliant to make it to the army. Actually if your IQ is above a certain level they will reject you. The tests including the ISB are very simple.
The highest selection criteria is of Air force , followed by Pak Navy and Pak Army comes in bottom of the list. The Questions and IQ test they take is of the following pattern:

1. Which one is heavier 1 kilo Gold or 1 kilo cotton?

now is that a tough one ? Lolz
