Israeli security experts suspect Pakistani hand in the technological advances shown by Iran in its latest Sejil-2 missile test, which with a
range of 2,000km can hit Israel, southern Europe and American bases in the Middle East.
Yiftah Shapir of the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University was quoted by daily Haaretz as saying that Sejil 2 is closer to a Pakistani missile, unlike the Shehab 3 tested by Iran earlier which was based on Soviet and North Korean Scud technology. It is closer to a Pakistani missile, the Shaheen II, Shapir said.

The question is why would have Pakistan done it ? (if it has at all) What did Iran have to offer Pakistan in return.

Is Pakistan some sort of Super Power???
Standing for what you believe in, regardless of the odds against you, and the pressure that tears at your resistance, means courage

Pakistan has previously been caught proliferating, so this is no surprise. This sort of exploits is one of the reasons to keep a very close watch on all moves in Pakistan, whether by the government or by terrorist outfits there

I don't know why Indians are so worried if Pakistan is helping Iran, If Russia does so, no body speaks... Why?
Iran is a legal country, having a democratically elected govt. yes they don't like Isreal and yes they do like to build up their defense system, they can ask assistance from any country they like. On the other hand, Pakistan has some thing to offer.. why the back side of Indians at fire... is there something wrong or these kind of cooperation between the two countries create hurdle in Indian plans.. who bTW is having problem controlling its own country...

Business is Business. Nothing personal. Just like how the US is selling dual purpose technology to India.
It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, more vengeance, more desolation. War is hell.

This is just an observation by an Israeli expert. There is no reason to make a big deal about it.
As long as Pak is doing it legally, what's the problem ? Defence cooperation between nations is pretty routine.

Both Pakistani and Iranian missiles are based off copies of North Korean missiles
Pakistan probably helped them reverse engineer some of the missile components
No biggie.....
Our missiles are aimed at India....which are sufficent enough to deal a punishing blow to India while Iranian missiles are aimed USA and Israel against which they are useless.....

^the reference here is to the solid fueled shaheen ll not the scud type initially traded from north korea.
this is a biggie because these technologies are hard to develop. its very possible iran has had direct help from pakistan or has aquired pak designs by way of intelligence.
pakistan sits pretty comfortable with this class of missiles. although non of the non superpowers will publically test the next distance range up from this, which would bring dc in range, the technology is the same.
just give the palestinians their land back!

Has Russia threatened to wipe any country of the face of the earth? Iran has issued that threat against Israel more than once.
You're also wrong about Iran's democratically elected govt. The power is held by the ayatollah which multiplies fears of Islamic extremism combining with wmd
