The Ny times thinks there might be a succession dispute in NK, & thats why this has been done.

Also this one did work, not like the last one. Some people are reporting that NK wants to negotiate one on one : No more six party talks.

Keep in mind that 3 million people dies of hunger in NK within the last 10 years.

"The Korean Central News Agency released the following report on Monday in connection with one more successful underground nuclear test in the DPRK.

"The Democratic People's Republic of Korea successfully conducted one more underground nuclear test on May 25 as part of the measures to bolster up its nuclear deterrent for self-defence in every way as requested by its scientists and technicians.

"The current nuclear test was safely conducted on a new higher level in terms of its explosive power and technology of its control and the results of the test helped satisfactorily settle the scientific and technological problems arising in further increasing the power of nuclear weapons and steadily developing nuclear technology.

They have every right to have that technology. When US, Russia, Pakistan, India, and Israel can have numerous nukes why can't North Korea or Iran? It's absurd. Either get rid of ALL nukes or mind your own business and don't tell who can or can't have nukes.

don't American laws target that kinda practice, i.e. Mafia Protection because system can't do the job properly?

if others are expected to give up nukes, it has to start from far east and far west first. set the example, others will follow.

CNN Most Popular - GPS: Fareed Interviews Henry Kissinger

Kissinger on the Korean Nuke test.

He says that unless China reigns in NK, it would have to live with a nuclear Japan & SK.

Good interview by Fareed, guiding and prompting Kissingers commentary, otherwise he might barely have made on well elaborated point in the whole interview.
