I THINK THIS IS THE TIME TO REALIZE THAT
ATHLETICS IS THE MOTHER OF ALL SPORTS

EVEN IF YOU DONT PLAY CRICKET OR ANY OTHER GAME
YOU MUST RUN ATLEAST FOR FITNESS

THIS IS ATHLETICS

FOR A FIT AND HEALTHY NATION WE MUST RUN AND RUN AND RUN

you perhaps misunderstood me
every sport may it be cricket, hockey, badminton, tennis, football, requires fitness
for fitness, the first thing that every trainer prescribes to his players is to run
so running is the prime activity that every body who intends to enter into the world of sports , must conduct

for those too, who dont want to enter the world of sports, physical fitness is very very
important to everybody
for fitness, the least that one should do is 45 minutes brisk walk, daily
for a better and fit person, if one run daily, or jog , it would be very nice for him

I agree with everything. My question was more of what are the sports that involve high amount of running (basketball etc) to sports that have less running involved (golf)?

ahmet well stamina can be built with other things as well, as a matter of fact sometimes running is discouraged especially for players in rehab who need to regain fitness or stay fit, and they use low impact activities.

I hate running, always have, even when i played competitive football, i.e. soccer for the yanks, and by competitive I mean organized regional sponsored league teams, I never really ran, it bores me, I would go play racquetball, or go biking, or rowing but running for some odd reason has always been a boring activity for me.

and this takes me to another question, can someone be fat and have some massive stamina for running, years ago I had a colleague who had a belly but he was really into running and told us he was going for 5k runs or 10k runs, and I always wondered how one can run that much but have a tond
