I am sure European (especially British) newspapers will dump it all on Faldo - and I admit some of his singles line up choices make me wonder too - but remember, Europe lost because their Big Three - Garcia, Harrington and Westwood, failed. Pure and simple. These three are money guys. Hardly scored at all in all three days.
On the other hand, USA benefited from a highly vocal crowd and a bunch of very impressive rookies - Kim, Weekly and Holmes. Holmes in particular was very impressive. Dude has such a huge advantage from the tee. When others are hitting 140+ approaches, he'd be hitting a 70 yard approach. Key is to score a lot of birdies. He was good. Azinger did many smart things, and getting 4 captain picks was really a bright idea.
