could British hope Murray finally win his first Grand Slam? I think this is a great opportunity for him! Of the top four (Djokovic, Federer, Nadal, Murray) he seems to be best in form. Moreover he is sort of an angst-gegner for Federer.
Why so serious ... ?

Murray has beaten Federer, Nadal and Roddick in Qatar open prior to Aussie Open this year and has been tauted as the most in form guy but let's see If he can do it.

Ivanovic lost..ha!
So there are only two women left in the draw who are grand slam champions. Serena Williams and Svetlana Kuznetsova. What a joke, seriously! I hope Serena wins and becomes #1! All these stupid teeny bopper girls are getting on my nerves, and they cant control their own nerves to hold on to the #1 spot for more than two seconds.
Men's side looks more competitive than ever. We have the ever genius Federer, who seems quite fit this year, #1 Nadal, defending champion Djokovic, on the rise Murray, and to top it all off even Roddick is playing great tennis! phew!
I was going with Murray before, but after I saw Federer against Safin, I dont know, Fed might just tie Sampras here. But then again, I havent watched Murray or Nadal play yet so who knows!!

the Fedster reaches his 18th Slam final after outclassing Roddick, once again.
I really think Nadal should be fearing Federer this year; the form he is in, he is virtually unstoppble

It's hard not to pay homeage to Federer, what a genius he is. Easily now the greatest Tennis player ever. He's going to go past Sampras's grand slam record and form premitting, will win many more by the time he hangs up his racquet.

Nadal beat Verdasco in the 2nd semi final in 5 sets. It was a marathon match lasting over 5 hours. Another Fed-Nadal classic on the cards for the final. Serena will play Safina in rhe ladies final.

Verdasco made some faults at crucial moments...otherwise he could have won from Nadal...
