well maybe he did not want tobe keegan's #2.
toons have a tough situation ahead, and while he may not be able to salvage it for sure, he may be brought in keeping next year in mind.

sadly I think in 8 games the only way for him to sort it out is to lace up his boots and go show the lads how its done.
big shearer fan, but think he was brought in too late this season.

"owt" !!??? Ok, so you're definitely a northerner then Milly.... and you should show your kids how it's done... my little girls love it when the hubby and I both play football with them..... and then find it amusing when I beat their dad at a 'boys' game....
I don't think he can do much for the team this season to be honest.... and according to him he is only at Newcastle till the end of the season ... but we'll see ..... wouldn't it be good though if he was on the sidelines, got sick of the teams performance, ripped of his managerial suit to reveal the kit, and ran onto the pitch himself to show them how it's done??!!!
He's the man... and he's still got it...

Whay aye man pet! I'm a proper born and bred Geordie lass, who has sort of lost her way and has to live with smelly southerners! :-p
It would be SO mint if Shearer ripped of his shirt too! He definately is the man. I now have new found respect for you Maroush (inspite of the smelly southerness )
I cant teach my kids how to play football, there are 30 of them, and most of the boys are a little too girly, I would be a Fergie style Manager and throw my shoes at them!

yaaaay yaaay Alans backkk .. been a big fan of him ever since .. back in the days when Newcastle beat Man united .. became a fan of his since thenn.. but then again i ve always been a Man United fann ..
but i think shearer will do some good to the team .if not major difference but will atleast give his side some inspiration and keep the hopes high and boost the teams morall as to how they are doing in the premiership... and this is thier big oppertunity with Alan with them ..
and hopefully next season ..if Shearer stays which he shud .. there will surely be some compatiton from him ..
but then again am a Man u fan and everyone knows what united can do .. be number one and stay number one ...so .. Newcastle you can finish Second ..
btw, Good luck to your Alan shearer with this season ..
