What an absolute nail biter of a final. I thought no tennis match can top last year's final between Nadal and Federer but this one is almost an equal if not better. High quality tennis and 16-14 in the final set!!!
Feeling a bit sorry for Roddick. He has improved tremendously as a player and he did not deserve to be on the losing side today.
But Federer! what a champion he is! Now confirmed the greatest of all!!!!
Amazing amazing match!

I was at centre court... but started browsing on the internet on my iPhone because it started to drag .....!!!!
Felt sorry for Roddick as he gave his all, but Federer.... ...
His poor pregnant wife was in the sweltering heat... she looked very uncomfortable...
Can't wait for the return of Nadal!

Roddick should have wrapped the second set.
Feel sorry for Roddick, he should have won.

Roddick deserved to win this one! Federer was lucky at the end. But really, a fantastic match!

The match was the longest men's singles final ever in terms of games played and could have gone either way. But it dragged on a bit esp. in the last set when every game went with the serve. It was all about power and big service. Last year's Nadal-Federer Final was a better contest because it had more rallies and passing shots. Something had to give in the end and Federer was a touch lucky I suppose

at last a match reminiscent of 90s tennis
great serving and very short rallies. Not those ladies-tennis-like matches with long rallies and breaks of serves left-right-and-center.
Good to watch and good to see Federer coming out winner. Well done to him
Why so serious ... ?
