I was wondering if there is a richest person/families list for Lahore or even Pakistan. If anyone has any information, I'd really appreciate. Thanks in advance.

Why are you concerned of richest families of Lahore? Have they ever tried to find out how many poor live in Lahore/Pakistan? How many people have hepatitis, Cancer, Diabetes, Cardio problems in Lahore?

I really do need more information on the wealthy families of Lahore, so if anyone can help then thanks!! And if you are soo concerned with the poor then instead of sitting in front of a computer, why don’t you go help them. Forget whether or not the rich help the poor, cut down on things in your own life, and donate what you have to help the less fortunate. Yes, those who can afford it, should help, but it's not like your opinion matters to them. Instead get out there and do something!!

I have no concern with either.......you started it and I just gave my opinion.

Why don't you just go to Lahore personally and count Kothis and bungalows and than go to the industrial area and count factories and Mills........plus those numbers and the net result will be your answer. I am just giving you the idea, that's the only way you can get correct information.

Regarding my sitting before the computer.............I remember one para-phrase for you,
" pot calling the kettle black".

If you don't understand, let me explain.......you are doing the same thing......what complaining to me.............are not you sitting before the computer too and asking people that how many rich families live in Lahore?

Yes, he is a billionaire. He owns Pakistan's biggest Coca Cola factory plus several other mills and industries, terms to be a CIA agent , last week President Musharraf specially dropped by in his house and had dinner with him and the news are that when soon Shaukat Aziz will be thrown out, Humayun Akhtar will be the next prime minister!

**Even if it’s just on the millionaires. Like who the families are, and how they made their money. That would help a lot!
Other than that, did it ever occur to you that perhaps I have a legitimate reason for wanting his information? That perhaps it was more than “Hey how do I waste my time today. I know, let me go find a board where I can post questions that have no meaning to me”. It wasn’t curiosity that made me post this question.
It is impossible for me to go to Lahore, and get this information in the time span I have, but what’s stopping you from donating more of your time and money. For the next year, stop using the computer, tv, cut down on electricity…the money you save can be given to those who need it.

This was just a post from a college student asking a question. If you had any information pertaining to my question, then it would have been kind of you to share. You didn’t, so why did you feel you had to waste my time?

These owners are also related to Wazir Ali Industries Group of Hyderabad who produce various items, vegetable oil (Tulu), razor blades (treet), soaps (Capri/sundale). There are more than one Coca Cola factories/sub-factories in Pakistan but the largest portion of it belongs to Humayun Akhtar.
