I believe Nawaz Sharif will get the credit as he never stopped harping about it while Zardari was on and off about it.

on the contrary the chances are that they WILL be re-instated. ZArdari, if he has a tinny bit of a political bone in his body, will not miss this chance of robbing NS of his SLOGAN for next elections.
when NS was in coalition, this issue was more like "dukh sahain be fakhTa, kawai andai khayen" for PPP.

It is very possible for Zardari to hijack the movement and steal the credit but IMO credit should goto Nawaz.

lets not talk about hijacking the movement shall we? where were these thugs between 1999-2007? In princple LAWYERS movement should get the credit but it is hijacked by these "leaders".

The judges to be restored are not from 1999, rather Nov 2007. Lawyers movement can get the credit but then they are not "political party" who can really make it happen.

Seems like Aitzaz Ahsan has quieted down since Zardari's is openly saying
he doesn't want to restore Iftikhar. Aitzaz should have been making the most noise.
Why are these people so loyal to PPP thats not even let by the rightful leaders.

i think if the judges are reinstated now, it will be pretty humiliating for PML-N, since they walked off in a huff.
however I dont see it happening.

I think Judges will be restored minus Iftikhar and the credit will go to Nawaz.

I think the poll is missing a much needed option.
"The Nation"
What if the nation would have elected PML(Q) to run the country again?

It would be surprising to me if Doger loses the post of Chief Justice. Rest is immaterial.

No No for Zardari. He seems to have the LEAST interest whatsoever in the reinstatement. Even Nawaz seems to have some vested interests. Yes, its partially the lawers themselves and partially the nation, who does behave like a half sleep, half wakeup troll at times.

As long as Zardari is in power, I dont think that judges are going to be reinstated. He has absolutely 0 interest in getting things done.

Zardari cannot claim the credit to the restoration of Judiciary. The credit will go to PML(N) and Nawaz Sharif specifically. The man rolled the dice on the issue of Judiciary, and left Coalition because of it.
Lawyers moment should have been up there too, but they're not a political party. It sort of complicates things. Aitzaz Ehsan has done alot in terms of organizing the Lawyers and struggle as a whole, and he says he's a die-hard PPP member.
So should PPP get some credit, because of his affiliation with them?! It's hard to say.
