Some of us thought that US would mind its own while Pakistan is undertaking an operation inside its border. No chance it appears, so far Americans havent shown any inclination to enter ground forces but they are continuing with their drone attacks. How long before our politicians develop a diplomacy rather than carrying out this self destructive mission? When we are weak enough we will totally be on their mercy.

It doesn't matter. Anyone who is willing to go after terrorists hiding in our tribal areas I'm ok with it. They're threat to Pakistan, Afghanistan & international peace & only place they should be in is grave.

Don't worry. People are under estimating our armed forces & their ability to send these roaches to hell.

Ever wondered why these terrorist are increasing rather then decreasing?

To kill 1 terrorist they kill 50 innocents with them, giving locals a good reason to support these talibans.

Why dont we hit where it hurts the most ? Stop the funding line to these retarded terrorists?..We all know and it is proven, RAW/Mossad & CIA are behind these terrorism, well there is a place where they are getting this money/weapons from. Why our gov is so slient? We don't we speak?...

They way its going now, & if it continues, terrorism will only increase...

I hate these drone attacks and the issues surrounding it. But look at this without getting too jazbaati about it.

We are country that needs billions of foreign aid and loans to even make ends meet. We also have a border area where armed men openly recruit and go across the border into another country to fight.

Given this, we can either take care of the issue by stopping those guys ourselves or we can say - we are unable to do this please help us.

We cannot have things both ways. Drone attacks are going to last a long time.

It could be that. It could also be that the terrorist foot soldiers are better paid than our soldiers.

Wait what does the funding line have to do with it? Arent the 50 innocents the motivator, if that is the case then the money is besides the point.

Why do you think the funding isnt stopped?

We all know? Really? I don't.

I know that blaming everything on CIA/RAW is convenient and helps us play the victims.

But I also know that many of these Talibans and jihadi outfits also have close ties with our agencies. Who are the hidden hands who allowed Lal Masjid to become a jihadi adda?

Maybe our government does not speak because it knows that once people start poking around, uncomfortable questions will be asked. If we talk about money from CIA going to Baitullah Mahsud and Fazlullah, people will ask why our agencies let those guys run around giving open press confrences.

People will ask why an army Brigadier is saying namaz next to Fazlullah.

People will ask why ISPR can play a recording of Fazlullah's instructions to his men within 6 hours of the conversation but why the same army could not find and destroy an FM radio station.

May be it is easy to say - everything is a global conspiracy and not talks about our own role in it.

May be GHQ geniuses get wisdom and use this popular anger against the Taliban to clean up all the shady connections once and for all.

It seems Pakistani government does not share your views ..... here is the interior minister of Pakistan asking India to help in its fight against Taliban as they are the common enemy .....

Daily Times - Leading News Resource of Pakistan

According to the channel, Malik told NDTV in an interview aired on Friday that Pakistan and India would have to adopt a joint strategy to deal with terrorism as Taliban are common enemies of Islamabad and New Delhi.

beats me we are a nation that cannot carry out any diplomatic solution, we cannot rely on the secret service getting inside and atleast giving us a fairer view of targets, our army is relying on precious shelling. there has got to be something less volatile on the table.

Stop Drone Attacks on Pakistan, Altaf Hussain Letter to US President Barack Hussain Obama

MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has appealed to the US President Barack Obama to stop drone attacks in Pakistan and respect its sovereignty. In a letter to US President Obama.Mr Hussain informed him of the details of the Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s address to the Pakistani nation explaining the terrorist activities of Talibans and ordering a decisive full-scale assault of the Armed Forces on armed terrorists. Now when the Government of Pakistan is taking a full-scale action to eliminate terrorism and tackle the terrorist Talibans in NWFP Province and the Pakistani Armed Forces, security agencies and intelligence agencies are sacrificing their lives to rid the country of terrorism to secure the country,
region and the world – it is high-time that the United States should stop drone attacks in Pakistan and respect its sovereignty.

just a question: What if Obama writes back "Go back to your country and face the charges", will the tone change?
