It's a pity that they are targeting bazars and public places. Country is in the grip of terror fears at the moment. Most of the high profile schools in Lahore still closed due to threat of these attacks. These animals have no regard for the loss of innocent lives!

Bomb kills up to 20 in Pakistani city of Peshawar
Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:35am EDT
By Faris Ali
PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) - A bomb killed up to 20 people and wounded more than 50 on Wednesday in a busy market area in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, a city doctor and police said.
The blast came several hours after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Pakistan pledging a fresh start in relations with an increasingly embattled and skeptical partner in the struggle against Islamic militancy.
The bomb went off in the busy Peepal Mandi market street in Peshawar's old city, sparking a fire that engulfed several buildings.
Sahib Gul, a doctor at the city's main hospital, said up to 20 bodies had been brought in, along with more than 50 wounded.
"We have 15 to 20 dead, including 12 women," he told Reuters
Pakistan is on high alert amid fears of retaliatory strikes by Pakistani Taliban militants as the army attacks their strongholds in South Waziristan on the Afghan border.
The offensive came after a series of brazen attacks on the United Nations, army headquarters, police and general public, in which more than 150 people were killed.
There have been several bomb attacks since the offensive began.
The army launched the offensive on October 17 and says it is making steady progress as soldiers push toward the al Qaeda-linked militants' bases in the region's rocky mountains and patchy forests.
Wednesday's blast caused serious damage in the neighborhood of old wood and brick buildings, busy streets and narrow lanes.
"Several buildings and a mosque have been badly damaged while a fire has engulfed a building," witness Aqueel-ur-Rehman told Reuters from the scene.
"I can see three bodies lying under the debris," he said.

Death toll has risen to 70. I am outraged at the barbarity of these animals. These morons kill innocent people day in day out and crow about it. Pathetic.

This is OUTRAGEOUS!!!
Our brothers and sisters are being slaughtered day in day out in their 100s. Are we here only to see and moarn??? How many more dead bodies we need to understand that it is time for action NOW!!
Kick out these f***** Zardari tola and all other corrupt politicians and ship them all to Angola or US or wherever.
Kick out all the US mercenaries (gora jihadis) out. There should be no american left on our soil apart from the diplomatic stuff.
Once these terrorist training centers within our cities run by americans are closed, lets take care of those scumbags who are being trained. No one of these TTP terrorists should be kept alive, once necessary information is extracted, they should be fed to dogs!!!!
indians must be made clear that if any more attack initiated from their terror consulates in Pakistan, it will considered an act of war!!!
Enough is enough. Either we moarn everyday for our loved ones and wait till we ourselves fall victim to antoher bomb or target killing.
Or we say, enough is enough... we are at war and it should be taken as war!
Lets act NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please join me in the campaign: NO TRANSIT ROUTE FOR INDIA!!

DAWN.COM | Metropolitan | Car bomb blast kills 86 in Peshawar
It happened in Meena Bazar street... i have been to that street / market. Its extremely busy place all full of traditional stuff i.e. clothes handi crafts etc. one of the best bazar's in peshawar just like Liberty and AnarKali in Lahore.
Very sad indeed... what these innocent souls has done wrong? Murder of one innocent soul is like killing of whole humanity.

Precisely 100% agree to what you have pointed out.
Seems like Gen Mec Crystal and Blackwater are finally showing their colors and successfully achieving their mission of converting pakistani into another iraq. But alas, we have such impotent and nalaik government and *other* organizations that its only a matter of time before pakistan becomes another iraq. Meanwhile, the zardaro tola will probably run to dubai or newyork once our country is really screwed.

pakistanis are pretending to have a mental block, i have suspcisions that they plan to keep this charade on for as long as possible to the huge irreversible detriment of the nation.
by the way about zardari and the ppp. yes this government is cr** but the army is no better. infact the army had already set out most roadmaps when musharraf was in power. this includes the more pro american then pakistani stands we see today
even if there was one out of the main players in pakistan (army, ppp, pml-n) who was willing to offer pro pakistan policies then pakistan would not be in this position.
there are MANY failures which have lead to this position
what can one say when normal pakistanis are stubborn in their quest to exact maximum pain on thier own country
