Altaf advises President Zardari to resign

Updated at: 1520 PST, Monday, November 02, 2009
KARACHI: The chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has decided to oppose NRO in the Parliament and advice President Asif Ali Zardari to quit as president.

The senior analyst of Geo News Dr.Shahid Masood said the top leadership of MQM had conveyed the message to President Zardari through Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Baber Awan to give sacrifice along with accomplices and face courts.

Talking to Dr. Shahd Masood, MQM leader Altaf Hussain said told the government that NRO is a black law and it should not be presented in the assembly but government had ignored the suggestion and presented it in the parliament. The MQM coordination committee will announce the decision from MQM.

He was the one who nominated Zardari for the president's post...

anyway, lets see what comes out of the sack ( remember MQM's member didn't opposed NRO in the standing committee, they just decided to not to vote knowingly that if they didn't vote against it, it will move on to the parliment...

So i agree with Kakabali, with little difference that he may want some more positions in Gilget-Baltistan region and $$$

NRO , just understand it as "Black Ordinance" constituted by Ex-President Musharaff to bring his favourite people in the Govt. so he can prolong his stay.
Accoriding to this ordinance many Corrupt politician were forgiven and their charges against were lifted in the Name of "National Interest".

NRO , National Reconcilation Ordinance.
Just google it will find more details regarding it.

@ Topic ,

It is MQM core Policy , that will threat the Govt on such ocassions , they are just attesting to their inherent policy.

@ Hareem01

Yes, He is right if he is actually against NRO.

But , He is CERTIFIED TRAITOR , I am sorry saying this.

Because he did not opposed it while its formation, but instead strengthened the illegale Dictatorship of Musharaff that time.

No one is looking at the results. N$ has learny nothing from the past. He is on his old tactics.
We are winning a war but I am afraid that this consipracy is heading Pakistan to an irrepaiable loss. I don't believe that Altaf Hussain is playing again the game of 1990, I am afraid that this time he is being trapped by the media.

It is noy a robery bill. It was victimisation of that time . You can see the program Capital Talk today Where Hamid Mir told that so-called Ehtasab Chief Saif ur rehman appologised . He said that I have seen him.
"Woh rotay rotay pairon main gir gaya aur apni ghaltion ki maafi mangi.
"
These cases were in courts for 3 years of N$ and 9 years of Mush. Nothing came out of them inspite of spending billions of national money.

This Altaf dude is just too much!
Now he has sensed this govt. can't stay for long and he is already preparing himself to be in the next govt, no matter who forms it!

The policy of MQM is simple: Stay in govt at all cost!

EVEN IF Taliban (God forbids) form govt in Pak tomorrow, he would be sitting right next to them as their best buddies, LOL.

Bright politician, isnt he?

On serious note: I guess MQM has figured out that this is a replay of CJ Iffti case and Zardari cant stand long on this issue, so they are repositioning themselves to right (at least on this issue) and if they (MQM) does this, its gonna be terrible blow to Zardari. They cant get it approved without MQM. Or may be Altaf Bhai is trying to raise his price tag?

Don't be so happy. Read following news item: Shabash pakyon ki tarah 180 degree turn around ho jaao. And say Altaf Mota Murdabad and Alfta Hussain na khapay. Shame on you guys. Crime is crime this has nothing to do with Zardari. He is criminal and should be tried, whether he supports Zardari or not. Who cares.

Read this news aor maatam karo. Hi Zardari wi Zardari.
